Walter K
Walter K. (Keith W. Smith) has been performing with The Shannon Boshears Band for close to fourteen years now. Before The Shannon Boshears Band, he played for five years with a regional blues favorite band called “ The Blues Patrol.” After that he performed as a single act for several years.
If he is chunkin’ it out on acoustics when “unplugged” or rockin’ out on electric guitars, Walter brings his experienced soulful guitar playing into the mix. Playing music professionally since the age of 17. His influences span a wide range of artists from Wes Montgomery and Trini Lopez to Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughn.
When asked what he would like to include in his biography about himself, he said “I was born in California and moved to Nashville, Tennessee when I was 19 years old. There I graduated from Belmont University with a degree in Business. But… the business world didn’t hold the allure for me that music did, so I hit the road. I have played in almost all of the 50 states and I’ve been playing a long time! The Good Book says….to ‘whom much is given much is required.’ I have been given a lot of blessings and hope to give just a little bit back through my music.”
Walter is also now playing and has been for the last four years with the Liberty Fellowship Praise Band. He wants you to know that the Lord will allow you to turn your life around.
Walter K brings his heart, his fierce love of music and his guitar expertise to whatever stage or venue of music he happens to be playing.
